Happy Wednesday everyone! I’ve found that it’s a lot easier for me to post these ‘Things I like’ overviews halfway through the week instead of Sundays, so I’ve decided to stick with it for a while.
Last weekend I had a blast seeing a lot of my girlfriends for coffee, drinks and dinner dates. Strolling the market in Rotterdam and buying fresh fruit and flowers, having coffee (and a glass of wine) while enjoying the sun, a nice ‘Galentine’s’ diner with my best friend and a movie on Sunday. We went to see Downsizing with Matt Damon, but I didn’t really like it. I thought it would be a comedy because of the trailer, but felt more like an educational movie to me. Not one I would recommend.
Here are a few Things I Liked this week.
One | Scented candles
I love to have scented candles in my home. A certain smell can really put your mind in the right place and make you feel relaxed. I’ve been buying these candles, and I like the way the Dawn and Spice smell.
Two | Fresh fruits and flowers
I haven’t been doing it enough, but since the sun was out this past weekend, I grabbed my bike and went to the central market only a 10 minute ride away from my house. They have such a great variety of fruits, vegetables and flowers, that I couldn’t resist grabbing some nice looking mango’s and avocado’s for this week’s smoothies.
AND colorful spring flowers just make me very happy.
Three | Spring collection
The new spring collections are in most stores now and since I restrained myself from buying any more sweaters these past few months, my hands are itching to buy something pretty and new. Like these shoes. Or these. And I also love this blouse, nice and comfy to wear to work.
Four | Biking weather
The sun came out! It was still very cold this week, but dry, so no more excuses not to ride my bike to work. Riding my bikes to work also saves me like 30 minutes in the morning, so I was more than happy.
Five| Ellen DeGeneres
I was finally able to sign up for a taping of the Ellen DeGeneres show! I’ll be in LA for 4 nights before the tour starts and how incredible cool would it be to be in the audience of one of her shows. I’ve been checking the site daily for the past couple of weeks, and the days I’m in LA finally opened up. Fingers crossed guys!
