Happy Monday everyone!
Last Saturday was my 29th birthday. The weather was perfect, my friends and family came to celebrate with me, my mom made some great food and I got to wear my new dress. I call that a success!
Everyone who knows me knows how excited I (still) get about my birthday, so it felt really good to celebrate with the people I love.
One more year until the big 30 and as you can read, I’m already looking forward to my next birthday.
But first, another amazing year ahead.
Here are a few Things I Liked these weeks:
One | PlukAmsterdam
My friends tagged me in this post of Plukamsterdam, which we will definitely be visiting when she comes to visit me in September. I took a look at their site and they sell the cutest stationary. Look at this birthday calendar!
Two | Bored and Brilliant Project
A project by Manoush Zomorodi in which she challenged people to detach from their devices. I just read this article about how you remember more when you don’t take a picture. I’m also very excited to read her book, Bored and Brilliant.
Thanks to Laura for pointing out this article.
Three | Des Coconuts
I came across this new clothing line through Instagram and I’m obsessed. I haven’t ordered anything yet, so I can’t say anything about the quality or service, but I really like their t-shirts and tanks and their view on a sustainable way of life.
Four | Bullet Journal
Last year on my 28th birthday, I started my first Bullet Journal, which I used as sort of a diary/art journal.
So last Saturday, on my 29th birthday, it was time to start a new one.
The great thing about Bullet Journaling is that you can totally do your own thing, and no one can tell you you’re doing it wrong!
For this year, I went for the botanical look.
Five | Ocean Soul Retreat
I’ve been looking into a yoga and wellness retreat for my vacation next year, and I came across the Ocean Soul Retreat in Bali. Their yoga retreat looks amazing. Do you guys have any experience with retreats?
Currently reading: I am still reading Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell.
Currently watching: I watched How It Ends, a new Netflix movie with Kat Graham and Theo James. I also just watched the hilarious movie Huisvrouwen bestaan niet (Dutch movie), a must watch for all my fellow Dutchies.
